TCL is excited to strengthen our commitment to gaming and esports even further by becoming the Official TV of the Call of Duty® World League (CWL).
It’s an exciting time to partner with CWL as it’s in the midst of its biggest season ever. The current season features six Global Open LAN events, a new CWL National Circuit, the CWL Pro League at the MLG Arena in Columbus, Ohio, and the return of the Call of Duty World League Championship. This season of the CWL has seen tremendous growth, with record participation and an overall prize purse equaling $4.2 million, the largest in Call of Duty esports history.
As an official partner, TCL will be featured in tournament broadcasts, as well as have branding and product placement in original CWL programming. TCL will also be on-site at the CWL Anaheim Open and the 2018 Call of Duty World Championship to engage with fans in gaming lounges at the venues. TCL will be on hand to showcase televisions for competition playback allowing fans to watch and interact with TCL’s latest products. Technology demonstrations, giveaways, and more, will enhance the events for even more fan excitement.
